FFB: Week 4 Diamond in the Rough

This week I will try and find you a fantasy football sleeper of the week. Not one that most experts have picked, but one that is available in most leagues and has the potential to explode. Now I know there will instances where I will be wrong (don't remind me about Blair White), but in my opinion, it's worth the shot in deep leagues or if you're lacking in that position.

Michael Jenkins
This wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings has had no hype what so ever this season, which is kind of surprising to me. He is only owned in 4% of all Yahoo! leagues, the availability is there. Also two out of the three weeks, Jenkins had had 8 points. I understand that the run game is a primary source of that offence, but with a good run game in Adrian Peterson will come a good pass game.

Last week he had a quiet 9 receptions for 88 yards. I understand that's not too impressive, but I believe this week is the week for Jenkins. He was targeted in the double digits this past week from Donovan McNabb. He is a fantastic route runner and is a big target at 6'4". He won't blow by you, but he can make the plays and this week I believe McNabb will step up and as he does, so will Michael Jenkins.

This week the Vikings will be facing the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs are one of the most disappointing teams this year, and it doesn't look like they'll make a change over the next few weeks. So the match up against the Chiefs' secondary is there. He is bound to blow up one of these weeks, and it looks like it's time against a bad Chiefs defense.

Final Prediction:
7 Receptions - 110 Yards - 1 TD
